Hellos & Goodbyes - August 2021

The Court Theatre is a dynamic organisation and we are fortunate enough to have great talent that joins us, and sometimes leaves us for new opportunities.

Over the past two months some such movements include:

Rachel Tulley: Programmes Manager – has left us to move to Blenheim with her partner. A huge thank you to Riley Harter who has stepped up to manage the department until the new Education and Outreach Manager arrives in September.

Scott Leighton: Stage Manager - has joined us in the position left vacant by Erica Browne who has moved over to the Deputy Production Manager role. Scott was the Stage Manager on Once and did a great job.

Lynette Lamprecht-Smith: Graphic Designer - has stepped into this role with us upon the resignation of Ryan Smith. Lynette has been with us for some time, patiently waiting in the wings for this opportunity.

Mally Goldberg has become our Tessitura Manager. It’s such exciting news that Mally has stepped across to work with the Tessitura Network team on implementing our new CRM database. Mally will not only oversee the implementation, but she will be our educator and trouble shooter too.

Julie McCloy replaces Mally as our new Comms and Marketing Manager. She has a wealth of experience and brings her own unique flavour to the role.

Stacey Wouters takes on a new position for us as Publicist. This new position for us has a new angle and you guessed it, a new story. Stacey was a 10-year veteran of MediaWorks and tells us she has now found her dream job.

And finally, and with much sadness, we will farewell veteran Costume Manager extraordinaire Deborah Moor who is leaving us to run her own dress making venture. Deborah has been with us 21 years, but we are so firmly in her DNA that she has promised to come back and help us at peak times. We are currently on the hunt for a new costume manager to make, and then fill, those shoes.
