Kia ora Friends of The Court Theatre!
Welcome, virtually, and very soon we will welcome you in person. The team have been busy getting The Girl on the Train to the station, and our beloved Shed has come alive with noise and joy.
Over these past couple of months of uncertain times, the work of the organisation continues in the background and we have been pleased to be supported by our donors, corporate sponsors, grant makers and, of course, the wonderful Friends, without whom The Court just wouldn’t be The Court.
Our Artistic Director, Dr Alison Walls, has recently shared with us the final draft of the 2023 Season. Now you need to keep reading Court Cues so that you know when we will be launching this fantastic new programme. It will be mix of musicals, drama, new works, international works, Māori, Pasifika and kids’ shows. It is wonderful to have Alison’s international perspective on programming help bring us stories that truly excite. You already know about Penny Ashton’s Sense and Sensibility, postponed from this year due to Covid, and the musical Next to Normal, so watch out for more.
