Exciting Plans Taking Shape to Celebrate 50 Years of Extraordinary Theatre

With The Court Theatre’s 50 years of extraordinary theatre celebrations drawing closer, we are thrilled to confirm we have Sir Roger Hall KNZM QSO amongst the panelists for the Supporters’ Celebration great debate event.

You won’t want to miss out on this head to head theatrical debate that will showcase 50 years of theatre life at The Court.

Loads of banter and fun is guaranteed with Hall taking on, amongst others, actor, director and performance coach Lara MacGregor; the artistically talented designer of all things visual, Tony Geddes; award-winning entertainer Ali Harper; and former Artistic Director at the Court, now the Artistic Advisor/Lead Director, Ross Gumbley.

This fabulous afternoon starting at 2pm on Sunday 25 April will also feature the unveiling of our new Friends of The Court branding. You will need to get in early to secure your spot as space is limited to 350 people in The Court's auditorium.

Things are taking shape for the other two events and we have some surprises and great entertainment planned for the Theatrical Black-Tie Fundraising gala event on Saturday 24 April, being held in The Court Theatre’s foyer.

Making the most of our access to some amazing, world-class talent and resources, we really want this night to be a true celebration of The Court’s incredible 50 years. With numbers limited to 120 patrons you will have to be in early to make sure you don’t miss out.

Our 50th celebrations kick off on Friday 23 April with the Alumni Event that will be all about catching up with old faces, sharing stories and reminiscing about all the good times experienced over the years at The Court Theatre.

Bookings for all our 50 years of extraordinary theatre events can be made via our box office after 1 March; please don’t contact the box office before then. The Theatre Alumni and Supporters’ Celebration great debate events will be $20 per person, great value for such special events.

The cost for the Theatrical Black-Tie Fundraising event will be announced soon, so stay tuned and please pass on key details to anyone you think might be interested.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
